An empty leg, also known as a dead leg, is the positioning flight of a private charter.
An empty leg is created when an aircraft flies without any passengers in order to position to the starting point for its next customer, or back to its home base. Just like a taxi in a city.
If you can be flexible with dates, this is the most cost-efficent way of flying privately. From as little as £250 per person you can fly on one of our King Air 200s on an Empty Leg flight, with all the luxury and amenities of a full price charter.
